Modern art at MACRO Testaccio: PLUS ULTRA Works from the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Collection
The group exhibit from the Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo collection explores the languages and ideas of modern art with paintings, sculptures, videos, photographs and installations dedicated to select Italian and international artists who have made an impact the history of art since the 1980s.
The exhibit, with Francesco Bonami artistic director, represents a collection spanning twenty years: artists include John Bock, Thomas Demand, Damien Hirst, Pawel Althamer, Carsten Höller, Sarah Lucas, Tobias Rehberger, Piotr Uklanski, Cerith Wyn Evans, Maurizio Cattelan, Giuseppe Gabellone, Diego Perrone, Paola Pivi and Patrick Tuttofuoco.
The newest additions include works by Tauba Auerbach, Hans-Peter Feldmann, Jon Kessler, Robert Kusmirowski, Goshka Macuga, Hugo Markl, João Onofre, Bojan Sarcevic e Piotr Uklanski.
Admission includes a catalogue in Italian and English, which provides details and an interview with Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo. Also on the program are educational tours and workshops dedicated to the artists on display.
